One of the really cool things about SCOM is the ability to create your own Management Packs.
You can do it with in the OM console or you can use the MP Authoring tool, but that's a bit complicated and takes time to learn. What you need is some help. Jonathan Almquist has compiled a list of links which show you how to author management packs.
